Top Spot Was Really Hot Spot

Air Asia has made the world become smaller. Yesterday I visited Kuching ehhhhhhhhhhh not visited, I was asked by our Germany Purchasing Director to make an audit to one of our potential service provider in X-Fab. So since the economic issues have become a hot topic, my company opts to use Air Asia instead of MAS. Nevertheless I reckon the flight was nice. We ride airbus and the company subscribed to express boarding so we kind of happy to have the opportunity to choose our seat first before other people do.

OK the bold line has become my official tag line. In Case Air Asia makes some contest and require us to create the tagline that shall be my tagline. The blog stamp the time ok. So if you copy and send for the contest, you pay me laaaaaaaaaaa.

Yesterday, after we made the audit, the Site Operation Manager (SOM) offers himself to take us around Kuching. Kecik tapak tangan Bandaraya Kuching kami tadahkan hehehehehehe. Well basically I am the only person that has the 1st time experience in Sarawak. My Engineer Rujhan used to work with X-Fab for 4 years before he joined me in Cyberjaya, Frank the Germany guys was in Kuching 8 years ago for equipment installation and hook up work in X-Fab and Adila the EHS Engineer has visited Kuching last 2 years ago with his family. So its really new experience laaaa for a half a day visit to Kuching. Before we really tour the city we perform our solah in Masjid Negeri Kuching. I was amazed to meet my friend from my neighborhood in Kuching and also an auditor from Lloyds that used to audit me for ISO things in my previous company. Both of them cuti cuti Malaysia in Sarawak. And, Air Asia took them there. That is why I said that Air Asia has made the world become smaller. You meet your friends as if you are in Kuala Lumpur.

After solat jamak, the SOM took us to water front, we spent like 2 ~ 2 1/2 hrs along the water front. Frank reminisced his old days 8 years ago with some of friends along the Sarawak River. Drinks beers and chatted for hours just to kill the time before going to bed. Rujhan has never thought that he will come back again to Kuching in this short period of time and he said the development remain the same the last time he left Kuching 4 months ago. Adila said they are some major development for the past two years and she said the place has become better. Frank agreed with Dila. Yela kannnnnnnn 8 years ago I think Kuching only better than Kajang kottttttt hehehehehehe, CL jangan marah kayyyyy. Ehhhh CL I bought daun midin laaaaaa. Come to my house if you want to cook them hehehehehehehhe.

After dusk, the OSM took us for dinner in one of the famous spot in Kuching. Frank has had his seafood dinner 8 years ago. Dila also has came to this place and according to her other than seafood, air Mata Kuching Alvin also very nice, Rujhan said its no stranger as he usually took his family here for dinner once a month.

The place is in the 6 storey building and the place is at the very top of the building. It’s a parking lot building and they make an arcade on top of the building. They selling seafood and also traditional cook like umai and alamakkkkkkkkk lupa la pulak, a chicken that is cook inside the bamboo, you tell me if you know the name. We did not take the local delicacies, we only took seafood, hot and spicy and yummy yummy. Frank biasalaaaa with his beer and the rest of us follow Dila advice to have Air Mata Kucing. True enough the taste somehow better than anywhere else in Malaysia. If I took MAS, sure I bought extra for Arc. But since we ride Air Asia and we not register for extra luggage so we did not buy any extra. Minum sampai habis.

The food were delicious, the fish, the clamp, the prawn the sea cucumber also fresh. And it is also cheap. It cost us RM 123 ++ for 5 heads. Frank really a rare species of Germany. He can take hot and spicy food. He event take cabai merah with ketchup. Huhhhhhhh senang kalau nak bawak makan, not like other Germany who can’t take hot food.

OK for those who have not vet visiting Kuching, I would recommend you to have your dinner on Hot Spot; it’s a food arcade on the sixth floor of a parking lot building. Try it, TOP SPOT is really is HOT SPOT.
