Happy New Year 2008

Another year gone by and we grow older.

Looking back the time I am glad that I have endeavored some events pretty cool. Though financially isn't better than I wish for, I am still happy with what had happened to me. Obviously my life today is better than 5 years ago, if ever anyone of you asked me what would happen to me for the years to come I will not hesitate to tell everybody I will make progress and subsequently my life in 5 years time will be better than today.

I still dreaming of running a business by 40yrs old. I have map everything in my mind what I want to do. If somebody ask me what is the business plan, I can tell the plan. The only lack right now is the capital. And this has been my resolution for the past 10 yrs or so. I never change the resolution. Never quit building my dream.

New year coming and I am looking forward to embrace the experience, the learning that can make me better person, for my family, my neighbors, my friend and the later, my business partners (I want to call my staff business partner) and business associates.

Good bye 2007. I am looking forward for new year with new opportunity and I know the opportunity lies from 1st January till 31st Dec 2008.

I Look For The Path For Success. Selamat Tahun Baru kawan ....................... btw, what resolutions you set for 2008?

Bomba training day 1

My department organized bomba training to the Emergengy Responce Team members and to the securities of the parent company.

Its more like refreshment training for the ERT members and its an induction training for the securities.

This is the 3rd training for the ERT members and I found that the training material and presentation has becoming more and more interesting and professional. I reckon this is because Jabatan Bomba has recently recruiting people with higher certificate than they has practiced before, or probably young graduates have found that the carrier with Jabatan Bomba are no longer 'kerja ikhtiar akhir' after they have formed engineering and forensic division that work similar ti CSI. Pretty interesting I thought.

I believe most of you know what to do before the fire starts, during the fire and post fire event. What I want to share with you here is what you need to do when your car caught fire in the high way.

Since most Malaysian do not carry fire extinguisher in their car ( I have one but already in my boot for 5 years and bomba thought that I shall change to new canister), if the incident occur, we might loose one the biggest property in your life. Mine would probably ok la pasal hutang pun tinggal berapa bulan lagi but mind you even newly brand mercedes also can get into fire.

So what you need to do when yourcar get into fire, in an area where you cannot find water from the stream along the high way. Well, in any incident, we must first call the bomba and later call high way operator. Done with that we may signal helps by mean waving our hand by in a safe area to the express busses and oil tanker. Bomba and puspakom have requested them to have fire extinguisher in their vehicles.

In many cases, it have saves many cars if not all but at least with that action it will prevent the car from total lost. No matter what happen, wait until the bomba comes to verify the incident pasal report bomba ajer yg laku for claim insurance

Ok olllllsssssssssss, I got to go for 2nd day bomba training. I'll pass another tip(s) that I find worth sharing to you after the training.

Beautiful mind

The other day Arc and I watched TV3 late night movie titled Beautiful Mind. A story about Nobel Laurette winner who got Phd. on his 22nd birthday with his thesis on modern economic approaches that change the world economic today ........... Mind you, his dissertation merely 22 pages that warrant him a Phd.

Well ............ John Nash was a genius from Princeton University, New Jersey. He was trying himself hard to find some original issue for his Phd and he has corrected Adam Smith's view on free market activities that has been widely used for more than 150years before 1950s'. He has successfully made the thesis with the support of his imaginary friend by the name Charles.

Because of his success, he has been admitted to MIT in the Wheeler Institute and worked for Pentagon besides lecturing MIT student. It is during this time that his delusion has became worst that he is some of important people in the US Army that can read numbers pattern for translate into information or communication from Russia Intelligent during the cold war. His delusion commander officer, Parcher asked him to crack figures from newspaper and magazine and send report to the secret office and rendezvous.

His friend and wife thought he is crazy and send them to mental hospital. In his 30th, he was identified as a person with Schizophrenia. It is a mental disease because when the person depressed, they started to talked to their imaginary friends and we probably think that they talked alone. For 30 years he fought the disease and with strong support from his wife and his friend, he finally overcame the delusion by ignoring to talk to their imaginary friend.

With the help of his old buddy that has became head of department in Princeton, he was accepted to use the library all years, until one day he has successfully manage to solve problem that Riemann (A Deutsch mathematician) could not manage to finished. One of the student who worked on similar equations noticed and they started to chat.

He later started to teach young Princeton student and his friend agreed to seek approval from the Princeton BOD to accept him as a lecturer under special post assigned to him.

In 1994 he received Nobel Prize for his thesis that change the free market view in todays market.

The character played by Russel Crowe took me to my colleague and one of the Dr in my division. They have some character similar to what Russel Crowe (Profesor John Nash) have. My colleague sits next to my cubicle and we called him ***kimia since he is really good in chemistry. He even trying to split hydrogen from water and collect the hydrogen to be a fuel and that small hydrogen had popped in his home. Luckily it was a very small amount.

The other Dr, ha yg ini yg menghapiri sikap sikap John Nash nih, Bahaya nih .............. wakakakakaka

You can get a short bibliography of John Nash from http://www.u.arizona.edu/~mwalker/NashStory.htm or TAG PROFESSOR JOHN NASH in your search engine.

Sekitar Raya Korban

Selamat Menyambut Hari Raya Korban olllllllllllllllllsssssss

So semalam, perut aku tak la nak kata berapa bagus. Lepas solat sunat aidul adha, aku terus melompat tanpa tunggu khutbah raya. Bergegas aku ke rumah cari toilet. Al maklum surau aku tuh dewan solat ajer yg dah siap, bilik air masih dalam pembinaan lagi. Sampaikan masa aku keluar rumah semula utk ibadah korban, jiran aku terus sergah aku; 'ko cirit beret ke' aku iakan ajer memang dah kenakan hahahahaha.

Kesudahannya petang Rabu tuh aku tunggu sampai Asar kat surau.

Cik Long sama Dr. Royce and the gang sampai lbh kurang 4.30ptg kot, masa tu aku tengah nak masak BBQ utk 2nd wave. Mana tau ada kawan kawan nak datang lagi kan, sedara lagi yg kata nak datang tak sampai sampai.

Malamnya baru la aku ke Serdang, makan makan pulak kat rumah mak aku, letih woooooo. Aku ajak Arc balik jma 10.30pm dan by 11.30pm aku dah masuk tidor. Tapi tidor aku tak aman pasal pasal kejap kejap aku kena flush. Hampeh ajer.

Hari ini aku masuk keje kawan aku kejutkan wei dah nak pegi solat Jumaat nih. Ngantuk sungguh aku kat opis. Untungnya kat dalam opis nih ada 4 orang ajer wakakakakakaka. Suka aku

Powerfull words over lunch

I have seen on movies that most business are dealt over dining table. Some says on a golf course but I reckon during the play they just chatting, ice breaking only. Later after they done with all the holes, they deal the business over lunch or probably dinner or what not.

Some of us also gossiping during having meals. Am I not right? kekekekekekekekeke ......... well what I want to say here is that ironically the power of our words become more convincing and powerful when we talked when we in the midst of having weal. I try to figure it out why but not to avail until this moment. Can somebody explain to me. The observation that I've made I used to talk with our internal auditors.

As the head of Quality and Safety I have limited of resources, with one Quality Engineer and one Safety Engineer. I have 6 technicians that help my Quality Section to maintain the quality of products. As of the quality system, ia dibawah batu jemala patik. Huh, Angah knows very well la kan the responsibility.

The quality system at my place has been long established and have been maintained very well. Although I have limited number of resources, I still have the committee to help me to maintain the quality system. Its a paksa rela term whereby the previous manager send an instruction to every manager to have the quality guy representative in their modules to maintain their quality system in their respective module. The later, they were send for quality system training and subsequently became internal auditors.

I have 4 senior personnels that have been internal auditor since the inception of our internal audit committee. They have all submitted their resignation letter from being internal auditor. I never said that I will except their resignation, not until I get replacement from their respective module manager. I knew they tired of being internal auditor without being recognize by other people. Yes, we have said thank you for every effort they have made and I reckon that alone will not help to motivate them.

So everything change today. Last two weeks ago I reviewed my department budget and I have RM4K excess that still can be utilized. I sought opinion from my director to organize an appreciation lunch as a token of appreciation to all the internal auditors. I know its a small gesture that the management can show how we appreciate them. My director says they deserve the treat and we organize the lunch at our training room.

So during the lunch, I sat with two of the senior personnel to say thank you for their job and explain how I am thankful with their effort, that reduce my burden in maintaining quality system in their respective module. I explain to them that it will be difficult to maintain the quality system in the coming future when they no longer in the loop. We will have a real mass production next year and cant afford to neglect our quality system. I explain to them its hard to get the replacement that have a well verse of quality systems.

To my surprise one of the personnel said; with this kind of treatment and appreciation (refer to the appreciation lunch), I will not hesitate to continue as an internal auditor. And the second personnel also agreed to continue to be internal auditor. Hahahahahahaha power ayat aku. They agreed to continue to internal auditors, so after that I sat with another personnel and told him that the two personnel agreed to continue as internal auditor and he also agreed to join them. Hahahahahahahaha, I relieved. Sekarang tinggal lagi sorang, kena tunggu dia balik dari maternity leave nih. Meanwhile aku KIV akan ajer surat dia.

Power ke ayat aku hahahahahahaha

Hopefull, next year our quality system will maintain good and better.

Arc's Grandpa Passed Away

Al Fatihah ..............

At the age 82yrs old, Hassan Bin Soaud rested in peace yesterday.

Semoga Allah letakkan ia disamping orang yang beramal soleh. Amin

And there is a story yesterday;

_________________________________________________

aku: Ehh, apa datuk buat kat sini
DJ: Visit my uncle
aku: ur uncle
DJ: ha ah
Arc's uncle: Hey J. Jemput tengok pakcik dulu, dah nak kapan dah tu.
: Zi, DJ nih cousin mak ko
aku: la, DJ duduk depan rumah saya
DJ: Padan la rasa rasa mcm kenal ajer. Dari hari tu nak tanya tanya tapi tak berkesempatan.

and DJ pun masuk tengok pakcik dia.

Dan malam itu adik beradik mak aku pun bercerita la pasal si DJ nih and wakakakakakaka, aku tahu la rahsia dia kekekekekeke. Tapi aku reportkan kat dorang yg DJ nih mmg baik org nya dan bermasyarakat kat tempat aku nih. In fact dia antara org yg terawal menderma sejumlah wang yg sangat besar membina surau tempat aku yg berharga RM 800K lebih itu.

Dulu business hebat tapi pasal geng dgn org kebencian kerajaan, byk business dia kena tarik balik.

Are all certificates matterrrrrrrrrrs?

I would like to respond this to an entry made by Anne.

I am a firm believer that education is important. That is the very reason why I furthering my study for Master. Not that I could distinguish with other people that I am executive with Master, like my workplace would love to do in a very short future. Yeah I tell you friend that my employer would like to discriminate poeple with cerfiticates with their employee ID card. Soooo pathetic.

I continue my study because I want my children to emulate me. I want them to know that in order to taste success, they got to work, not only smart, but hard as well. I want them to know that whenever exam approaching they must surrender everything and start to study, instead of watching TV and play PS2. So what I preached must congruent with my action which I did.

But are all certificates matter in this life. Well heaven knows it isn't happen that way. Simply because Allmighty Allah is great. If all peopel in the worlds are smart I could not imagine what will happen to us right now.

I know most parents would be proud if their children graduated from university or from one of the best colleges. I can vividly remember the face of my mum when I rejected the offer from Mombushua Japan. My mum taught that I rejected the offer on purpose, as a protest, for not allowing me to get into TUDM Flight Cadet Officer and stopped me to get into UTM which they felt it just a waste of registration money if I quit Politeknik.

No, I didn't do it on purpose. I was in love with Arc that I could not think myself studying for another 5 yrs to complete my degree. I told my mum that I will fly for UK that could offer me 2 yrs to complete my degree. Save 3 yrs and meaning that I could marry Arc lagi cepat la kan. I tried to comfort my mum and she still upset with my decision to go for UK simply because the new intake would be the following years. The rest is history when I graduated from Liverpool University. My mum proud with me because I finally got the certificate. Would that really matter.

I have a neighbour in Serdang how he admire me for being able to study abroad, not like his sons that school until form 5 with SAP certificates. I told him that certificate does not mean the whole things will comes good on me. No................... I still got to pay JPA for the loan and the numbers, walllaaaaaa.............. you guess.

Well, I look to my friend even with SAP certificates they still live good, have his own house and car that is far off better than mine (bagi aku la kan kete Korea tu lagi baik la kan dr proton, tak caya tanya DJ Elf Pemantun Tegar Sinar FM). Run a business even tough small but still return profit at the end of year. He didn't have any technical certificates but are hiring a chargemen that graduated from ILSAS and mind you, from Politeknik. Tell me if this is not something.

I know conservative minded peopel will think that education is the only 'property' they have these days. Its not entirely true. There are other things that can make up people for better living. Not just degree certificate or master.

My friend is just a small story that I can put up as an example. Lets look at people who have similar background to my friend. People from abroad. Kan org kita suka dengar benda benda dr abroad nih. Do you know Anthony Robbins? He is the author of best selling book, UNLIMITED POWER. Well he is not Dr Dale Carnegie or Dr Stephen Covey. He is a high school dropped out and made a living by writing inspiring and motivational books. He do not have any doctarate in any field and still writes book from observation he made and from self study he conducted to improve himself. Not only that he had inspired himself, he have inspired million of people. Another author that inspired me is Og Mandino, a millionaire writer of THE GREATEST SALESMAN IN THE WORLD. Being dumped by his wife and have made an attempt to suicide, he turned calamity to success.

Lets look to Anita Roddick, the founder of BODY SHOPS. She never completed her study from a university in Israel and look with what she has built today. A lot of Phd holder, a biologist working for her company to make her product even more environmentally and animal friendly. Don't you think this is amazing. What about the ex richest man in the world, Mr Gates and Mr Dell from Dell corporation. Both of them never completed their study and have build computers and network empire around the globe. Do you still believe that certificates are all matters. As off my personal opinion, it is not.

When I read the success of some personality figures, I found that the Peeeeeeeeeeeeeees are all matter; Passion, Patient, Perseverance and Persistent.

Dream any dream you want and make action to make other people proud of you and when you start to work out your action, do with the 4 Ps. This is all I can say, certificates is just a paper. There are some other things that a family can proud off.

Overnight stay at PGH

Early of the month we took our children for an overnight stay at PGH. We book 2 deluxes room and plan to have them connected to each other. Unfortunately PGH do not have connecting room and suggested us to upgrade from deluxes to suite. As long as I do not have to pay extra charges it will be fine with me. So we change to suite and the hotel will give another bed for the kids.

The suite is big, they have all the facilities every business men need. Internet is readily available at the room and the fee, walllaaaa, RM 40 per hour. I didn't dare to hook my laptop to the network. The TVs complete with ESPN Chanel which I enjoyed watching EPL league between Newcastle and uhhhhhhhh I forgot.

The kids were enjoying themselves in the pool as well as in the jacuzzi in our suite. Arc wanted to have jacuzzi late night but she was exhausted and have a shower instead. There are many people in the pool on Saturday afternoon and Arc asked Shasha and Liyana to continue in the jacuzzi.

Me, hahahahaha, I was struggling to complete my dissertation. I am now relieved that I have completed the dissertation after our stay at PGH. Next I will have a real holiday, minus the book.

Finally, my dissertation

Entry Takde Tajuk

Lamaaaaa aku tak masuk kacau kat sini..hehehehe. Aritu cuba curi2 masuk...tapi tu laa, niat curik masuk kan...dah tak dpt masuk. Silap taip rupanya. Apa aku nak citer yer...byk kalau kira2lah. OKlah..aku citer lah sikit2
Urusan umah dah smooth sikit sekarang aku rasa, tak mcm masa mula2 bibik balik dulu. Ye lahhh...lama bebeno dia manjakan aku. Nak basuh pinggan dulu pun aku kena berebut dengan dia. Anak2 pun pandai menolong skrg, especially si abang. Boleh dah di harap jemur2 kain or vacum umah. Si kakak, penah gak laaa..aku balik2 keje ckp dia dah lipatkan kain hehehehehe. Gelihati gak nengok sbb lipat kainnnya tunggang langgang. Tapi takpe, effort tu yg buat aku terharu. Yg adik lak...pepandai buat susu sendiri voleyyyy....seram aku takut dia terkena air panas. Takpe..takpe..adik pandai katanya. Nasib baik aku pakai thermopot (betui ke idak spelling nih).
Aritu makayah aku dok kejap ngan aku, sementara nak nunggu cuti sekolah sbb nak nengok2kan cucunya kat umah memandangkan bibik dah takde. Aku dah nak hantar kat taska jer, but dorang tak bagi. Ayah aku suka jer dok ngan aku cause dia blh suruh mak aku exercise turun naik tangga. Kalau kat kampung tu, mak aku asik duduk jerr..tak de exercise langsung. Kalau kat umah aku, paling kurang 2 kali lah dia kena turun naik tangga tu. Tapi aku tanaklah makayah aku jaga anak2 aku, kesian pulak. Nih time dorang berehat2 di usia lanjut nih.
Malam tadi aku ada dinner kat restoran pusing2 hehehehehe..Meh aku bagi satu tips, kalau nak pi mkn sana, better lah dtg awal. Jgn pi kul 8, alamat nak amik makan tu siap beratur lak or mcm crowded lak tempat amik food tu. Nasib baik kami pi awal. Kul 6.30 kami dah terpacak kat atas tuh. So, kira relax lerr masa kami mula makan tu pasal org tak ramai. Food nyer lak..hmmm rating 6/10 lerr..better lah dari lunch dia nyer menu. Kalau lunch aku bagi 5/10 jer.
OKlah..gitu2lah gomel aku kali nih..till next time daaaa.....

Viva and Exam

Last Saturday I had my viva for my Master Degree project. I reckon I did ok and most of the question poised by the lecturers I can answered it pretty well. However at the end of the day, my final dissertation will determine what grade I get. We'll see at the end of the semester.

Meanwhile, today I will have a paper which is Industrial Safety, Health and Environment. And on Wednesday I will have Waste Water Design paper. I made revision yesterday and I felt dizzy and at late night I got headache.

It doesnt feel good right now and I still hoping I could answer all the question this afternoon. Hopefully things will be much better late afternoon so that I could prepare for Waste Water Design paper.

And most important, I could finish my dissertation by end of week. Berserah ajer la berapa supervisor nak bagi aku markah utk projek aku tu.

I cant wait for next week and rest for 2 month from classes.

Wish me luck friend

My dengue fever story

7th Nov
My body was so weak and my body temperature started to rise. I took paracetamol and I felt a lot better. My mum started to nag me for not making blood testing to see what's wrong with my body. She even massaged my back when I told her my temperature rised and I felt back pain. Kasih ibu gitu. I even could entertain Arc's best friend for last days of Hari Raya and not to mentioned that I could entertain Angah's request to come over to Restoran Yus Sg Ramal. Afterall I got to buy satay for the guest anyway so I agreed to meet Angah, Wan, Delinn and Yum at the restaurant. Sempat jugak ko bergambar dalam demam demam tuh.

8th Nov
I continued with my thesis writing and at the same time entertain Alangz for some business. My body felt week and only feeling better after I took paracetamol. At the mean time the progress of my thesis was zero walaupun tinggal discussion and recommendation ajer. Cannot think when your body soooooo weak.

9th Nov
I sought doctor at my office and she gave me some medicine. But no improvement on my health condition. I still felt the same and infact I became even weaker. I called my supervisor asking for permission to send the thesis on Saturday and she replied as long as my thesis inside her pigeon hole by Monday, it will be allright and I am relieved as I still cannot deduce my finding on my lab experiment. My mind still weak.

10th Nov
I managed to make some discussion and deduce my finding. It took me ages to complete this finding padahal tak sampai satu muka surat pun.

11th Nov
I forced myself to complete the thesis and I managed to complete them by noon. I told Arc that I want to print my thesis at the office and I drove to the office and started to print the thesis. But the process didn't go smooth as the printer had not enough post script memory, so I got to print little by little. And I need to xerox my lab results as the paper is not the same size of A4 size paper. I have 38 results and I need to copy them all. What made me even frustrated was that the copier machine always stop for misfeed paper sedangkan paper ok ajer. So I got to stand up by the copier machine and press reset everytime the alarm sounded. And by that time my body shivering and my knee felt so weak. Aku gagahkan juga nak siapkan thesis aku. By 7.30pm aku siapkan semua and I drove to Serdang for combed binding. After I have made the binding I dropped my thesis into my supervicor's pigeon hole. By 8.30 I reached home and straight to the bed.

Kebetulan sekejap tuh my mum and all my sibling came to our house. My mum wanted to visit my MIL as she has not met my MIL for quite sometimes. So sambil sambil tengok MIL my mum looked me at my room. She asked me to go to the hospital and while waiting my body ok, she massaged me. Again .................. Sayu aku tengok kasih mak aku kat aku.

So I went to Az Zahrah after I took paracetamol and immediately Arc asked me to get into the consultancy room. The doctor asked his assistant to check my blood and after 5 minutes the doctor confirmed that I got dengue fever. The Platelet was 27 that night. So I warded.

18th night Nov~ 23rd Nov
I was warded for dengue fever. The platelet dropped to zero on monday and the doctor was worried with my condition. I felt weak but after I took medicine, my body felt ok. I could sit and talk eventhough not for very long. More often than not I just slept after I took the medicine.

The doctor has requested platelet blood from blood bank to support by platelet as my bone marrow still cannot re-produce the platelet. So on the second day they support me with 6 bags of platelet. Everytime they support me with the platelet bag, the platelet count rised to 12 or 14 and after a few hours, the platelet count drop back to 4 or the most 6.

On the 3rd days, the doctor only managed to get 4 bags of platelet as the inventory at blood bank has became low to nul. The doctor worried if my condition maintained at below 10 platelet count. He worried that I have internal bleeding and the blood will leak out of the vein or any other important organs. He asked me not to brushed teeth as he affraid that my gum will bleeds and will not stop. He also started to give me piriton in order to prevent me from cold fever which can lead to sneazing which according to him could cause the nose to bleed if I sneeze hard. This piriton also prevented me from itchy and always make me nausea. This is the reason I always slept.

On the 4th days, the doctor only managed to get 3 bags of platelet. He was hoping my platelet count rise to more than 10. In the morning blood test, my platelet count was 13. He hoped that it will maintain to that level for the rest of the day as he has been informed that the blood bank has run out of stock for the platelet blood. The nurse came to my room for every 2 hrs to check for my condition and to check whether or not I have bleeding. In the afternoon the platelet count rise to 17. The nurses was relieved but the doctors did not impressed much as the rise was not significant. He asked the nurses to make surviellance on me every 2 hrs. Just to make sure I didn't have any bleeding. At night the nurse checked my blood and it has risen to 28. Only at this moment the doctor felt relieved. He felt relieved because not many people under his care have a platelet count to zero. He nursed 3 people thus far including me in this hospital eversince 2002 and for beeing able to take care of people with platelet zero probably was a milestone to him. Another reason why he felt relieved simply because he knew that blood bank has zero inventory for my kind of blood. nampak sangat ramai yg kena denggi nih hehehehehehehe. So he just ordered the nurse to make normal visit to me. I felt relieved too because they will not bug me while I was sleeping. Tenteram sket tidur aku.

On the 5th days, in the morning, the nurse checked my blood and it has risen to 37. The doctors confident that my platelet count will rise to more than 50 in the noon. So in the noon, the nurse checked again my platelet and it has risen to 63. The doctor mentioned to me that I could go out if I wish too so I called Arc and tell her that I want to be discharged, bosan weh tinggal lama lama kat hospital.

So I dischraged from the hospital at the afternoon. The doctors gave me MC until Monday and asked me to make follow up check up on Monday. The doctor has warned me of the after effect of dengue fever. He mentioned that I still will have gastrict and occassionally I will have headache. I could deal with mild headache but I just cant stand with dizzy. Macam rasa jetlag gitu, mabuk laut atau mabuk naik kete jalan bengkang bengkok. Made me feel wanna sleep ajer.

On Saturday, the 6th days, I got real bad headache. I just cant stand and Arc wanted to take me back to Az Zahrah. Initially I refused, but even after I took Panadol Active Fast, my headache still not ease in fact even worst. So I agreed to go to hospital. They asked me to go straight to the emergency bay. The doctor asked the nurse to prepare needle for drip incase I need to be warded again, took my blood again to confirm that I have fully recovered and checked my blood pressure. Surprisingly my blood pressure rose to 165/92. This is the highest blood pressure I ever had. No wonder I got real headache. Meanwhile the locum doctor questioned the judgement made by the doctor who nursed me for allowing me got out from the hospital when my platelet count was merely 63. She said it should more than 120 count. I reckoned this locum doctor is arrogant for making such claim that the doctor have made wrong decision. As of the doctor's (who nursed me) experienced and from story from anyone who had experienced with dengue, it shall be ok if my platelet count has risen to more than 60. In the government hospital even worst when they asked the patient to discharge when their platelet count around 50. So this locum doctor was nothing just mere person to have extra income for being a visiting doctor in Az Zahrah. Hampeh ajer aku rasa. So after a few minutes the nurse confirmed that my platelet count was 217 dan doktor tadi terus termalu kerana menuduh doktor yg merawat aku tuh buat judgement yg salah.

Knowing that my blood pressure was high, she ordered the nurse to jab me kat pungkuk aku. After 15 minute, I was relieved and I felt OK. The headache has gone and I asked the doctor to cancell the room for my ward. So later Arc drove me home and I get another rest.

During the days of treatment, I could not manage to drink a lot of water even though a lot of people asked me to do so. My stomach just felt bloated and I cannot drink a lot of water and I cant even eat a lot. Arc and my mum cooked crab soup as many people said that this will help to control my dengue fever. Even so, I still only manage to eat 3 or 4 spoon of rice and sip a little soup. Not that I am not hungry, it just that my stomach felt full.

On Monday I made a follow up medical check up and the doctor extend my MC till Thursday. He asked me to have enough rest.

BTW, thanks to all friends that visited me. Wan/Angah, Delinn, Yum, Serindit and scandal and Kong from Joe's Tag, my office mates and colleague, Anis and family, Kat Siti and her husband who had arrange my exam for safety to the later date, Azi, Fara, Shida and Juita and also my Course mate that had passed me notes dan soalan bocor for my next exam kekekekekekeke.

Thanks also to those who have pray for my well being from abroad. You guys have been dear to me.

Raya Story (Part 4 - The Final One)

Ehhhhh Eid almost over and I have not finish my story. Ok Ok lets continue.

When I was like 19th, I found myself a little bored again. Like I have previously mentioned, my friends are 4 to 5 yrs older than me and during those years all friends have dated some girls. Don't ask me why I did not go out with my classmate or some guys similar age with me. I reckon because there are no boys adjacent to my home. It just only girls. The rest lived about 600 to 700 meter away from my home and since I enrolled TIKL when I was form 4 and form 5 some friends have became inferior with themselve and choosed to distance from me. Well, I could not be bothered because I still have friends eventhough there are quite far and I have dated Arc as well...... kekekekekekekekeke .......... walaupun cuma dapat jalan setengah harian ajer kekekeke.

I didn't get out as much as I was 17th and below. I just help my parents receiving guess at home. Normally we will make open house 2 times, 1 for my brother's friends and the other for my friends. Time is too short those years because in 5 to 7 days time we got to get back to poly again. So its kind of hurry.

I think the best moment I celebrate eid before I got marry to Arc was the time I am in Liverpool. We also make open house and cooked Nasi Minyak and Ayam Masak Merah with Dalca, beehoon tuh biasa la kan and also Nasi Ayam. We invited friends to our house and we also went for open house to the post grad houses. When we walked in a group, it just bring back my memory when I was like 13 and 14th years old. Kecoh ko jalan ramai ramai dan naik bas berbaju melayu siap samping lagi. And its merry. We went to Dr Burhan house in Toxteth for Nasi Dagang, Dr Othman houses in Prince Avenue for Rendang, Abg Khairul also in Prince Avenue for Spagetti and Dr Termizi for Lontong.

When you leave abroad yg biasa biasa pun jadi sedap juga kekekekekekeke, tak caya tanya Joe.

Okay. After I came back from UK, Hari Raya is totally different, 1st of all, my dad passed away before puasa and kena beraya 2 rumah. Satu rumah mak aku dan juga satu mil aku. Anyway I enjoy berhari raya with both mum and inlaws.

Our term always SEMBAHYANG RAYA KAT MANA, not BALIK KAMPUNG MANA. Normally during raya, the time to commute from Serdang to Ulu Langat takes merely 20 minutes and I don't really mind travel hence and forth.

I just make sure that I could go to kubur by 9.30am. If I pray at Ulu Langat, I always make sure that by 9.30am I must reach Serdang and dan ziarah kubur. After all its only me that married to a local. Abang aku berselang la as he got to alternate between Serdang and PArit Yaani.

And still even after my father passed away, we still balik kampung on the 2nd day of raya and it just the destination has changed. We will go to Bukit Bangkung first before we go to Batu Laut.

Raya Story (Part 3)

So we did what we always done for almost 5 or 6 years and during that years, my friends who celebrating eid in Serdang becoming more and more as their grandparents have passed away.

Raya has become merrier when a lot of friends are around. We could not manage to care with TV programs. What we always wanted to do are visiting friends and I tell you it always girlfriend that we can't wait to go. So we use eid celebration as reason to go to the grilfriends' house. Well, aku tak dak girlfriend lagi masa tuh kekekekekekeke, kawan aku yg ramai miang hahahahaha. Aku budak baik. PERCAYALAHHHHHHHHHHH ...........

I have a lot of friends that are 4 yrs old than me. When I was 15yrs old, we always jalan jalan with their bike. If 4 or 5 yrs before we headed to KL with Tong Fong bus, start from I am Form 3, we went for movies in Kuala Lumpur with bike. Best siot, we raced and that road belongs to us as there are no cars on the hiway.

And still during hari raya kedua we will balik kampung to vist my grandparents and my aunties. We always head for Batu Laut first to meet with my father's sisters and brothers on the 2nd raya. Normally by 7.00pm we had visited all the houses and by 7.45pm normally we reached to Bukit Bangkong.

Every year like that. My father didn't reason why he drove to Batu Laut and not Bukit Bangkung even when my grandparents still alive. Probably he didn't want to have a lot of trip hence and forth from Batu laut to Bukit Bangkung because we usually overnight at Bukit Bangkung. And my mum never demanded from my father to go first to Bukit Bangkung as she always follow whereever my father headed to.

Bersambung Raya Story (Part 4), raya kan masih ada lagi kan heheheheheheheeheh

Beraya ke Hulu Yam

I was still sleepy when Arc asked me to join them for breakfast at the hotel. I was still sleepy and I could not manage to care of having breakfast. We had a long chat that early morning after Gegar Ria has over from 1.00am till 4.30am with Wakame, Sham, Kuchikuni from Japan, Cma, Delinn, Arc and Yummy at the mamak restaurant infront of De Palma Hotel.

We had a good chat that early morning and we add our understanding about Wakame a little bit more. Wakame proposed us to watch Hati Malaya Movie whereby his brother act as Tunku Abdul Rahman in that movie. We talked about how thing should going on in good governance and we talked more about where Wakame and Sham always lepaking. And now I do understand why Wakame soooooooo shceme when he talked with us whenever in public. Well, he is a public figure, a well known personality amongts our local artist so he cannot hu ha hu ha blindly in the public. But we love most when he talked the stage that night until Kuchikuni was surprised that Wakame is totally different out of the ballroom. Hahahahahahaha itu la sedikit understanding yg kita dah maklum sekarang.

Ok Ok back to Hulu Yam. We were supposedly off to Hulu Yam like 2.00pm from, where ahhhhh, haaaaa from Selayang or Gombak or hahahaha tak ingat lak...... Delinn and Yum wanted to go to Mak Ety's house as early as they could possibly can because they didn't want to get back home late. Well as usual la kan Delinn, very not the punctual one hahahahahahah..... Yum OK hahahahahahahaha. So they end up going with the rest of the gang, together with Wan and Angah, Pak Dee and adiknya. Chotto matte ............. Haaaaa I realised, Delinn and Yum merely wanted to be closed to Pak Dee. wei allllll aku nak habaq, Xydee probably single but he is not available okkayyyyyy. Mana Bernie dia nak letak karang wakakakakaa.

We checked out from the hotel at 11.00am and we need to pick up our children at our MIL's house. So from Ampang we headed to Ulu Langat. On our way back to MIL's house we saw our children were heading to Sungai Tekala so Arc called her brother and asked her brother to send them home to MIL's house. The kids were frustrated that they are unable to picnic in Sungai Tekala. We told them that we will go some other time. We cannot go straight to Hulu Yam because we had not bring along decent cloth for our children so we got to back home to don Baju Raya. When we reached home, I saw my neighbour arranging their cars out from the foyer and moment later I remembered that he had invited us for their open house. Aisey man ............. I got to go to Serdang for wedding reception before trip to Hulu Yam. Pukul berapa la aku nak sampai Hulu Yam nih. My mum had called me when I'll be coming to her neighbour's wedding reception and I' still at home even at 1.30pm. I asked the kids and Arc to hurry up and by we went to my neighbour house first before we embark to Serdang. Makan ala kadar ajer just to reserve space for Mak Ety's. BBQ bebbbbbbbbb, kena la reservekan.

We off to Serdang like 2.00pm and we just shake hand only, say hi to some people and off to Hulu Yam. My mum called me whether or not we have arrived, We said we have arrived and met the bridgegroom's parent and we told my mum that we are on the way to Hulu Yam for another reception.

The journey was pleasant to Hulu Yam and we took almost an hour to reach to Mak Ety's house. We didn't have difficulties to get to Mak Ety's house. When we reached there at probably 1/4 pass 4 and Fara with Hamid and Lydia, Delinn, Yum and Cyma, Xydee and his brother, Angah and Wan were enjoying their food. They were also just arrived pasal sesat hahahaha.

The lemang was so sedap, ayam masak merah yum yum yum dan yg paling best of course la BBQ seafoods. Walllllaaaaaa, long awaited bbq and its worth waiting. Blackk pepper sauce goes with the bbq.

All the makan makan have always been our trade mark la kan. What I want to story here about our conversation with Apak and Mak Ety and I reckon this is something really interesting. We all know that Apak was a senior person in FINAS and he knows a lot of Directors namely DYH, Rosyam Nor and others la kan. So one day Apak has asked Mak Ety to print Joe's Entry. He wanted to read the story and make a movie, some sort of Joe's experience. I didn't know about others but I was so excited........ Dgn harapan aku jadi extra pun cukup laaaaa hahahahahaha. Itu pun kalau Joe setujua la. Apak cannot do anything if Joe is reluctant to sell his story to the movie producer. I believe there are values in our friendship thru the tag and Joe's blog and everybody seems to underpin the values dan aku rasa kita boleh canangkan ke dunia about our values hahahahahahaha. Verangan dah aku kekekekekekeke.

We done with makan makan like almost 6.00pm. Fara started to move 1st becaus she had to prepare something for Hamid going back to Johor. Prepare Zahir dan batin aku rasa kekekekeke. We got off from Mat Ety's house 1/2 hour later.

To Mak Ety, terima kasih la terima anak anak ayam reban joe yang kuat kuat makan nih. Tahun depan buat lagi kekekekekekekeke.

Selamat Hari Raya mak ety dan apak

Gegar Ria 2007

We did it again and this time its even more spectacular.

2 Japanese Girls (Kawan Wak), Aku, Coco and Wakame (Wak)

Reramai

Lord Budan & Lady Arc
4 Jejaka Hensem, Afdzal, Aku, Wan Angah and Wak

We have been planning this for more than 6 months and I am proud that we have done it sooo well that almost everybody felt entertained and enjoy.

I would like to take this oppurtunity to thank you everybody that are willing to pay quite amount of money to make this even a success, and not to mentioned to our friends abroad that have sponsored most of the lucky draw prizes, special thanks to Malim in Melbourne that have design an art work for the banner within some short period of time and to Tn Alang that has given hand to set up the IT equipment as well as establishing web stream for our friends who live abroad.

Last Saturday was quite jammed all over Kuala Lumpur. We are supposedly arrived at the Hotel De Palma around 2.00pm but only able to arrive at 3.00pm after we picked up Zura at Taman Miharja.
When we arrived, Angah/Wan,Delinn, Wakame, Limah/Ham have arived. Some of them were arranging the Lucky Draw Prizes, Angah anyam ketupat while Wan and Hamdan preparing stage with lampu lip lap and Ketupat braided by Angah. Later Arc helped them with the arrangement of Lucky Draw and Door Gift. I set up the guitars and tune them. After I had tune the guitars I played some songs and Wan played too. He played good and I requested him to be on stage too as a bassist cum lead guitar. Angah told me last time that Wan is shy playing guitar before a crowd but I think Wan had overcame that somehow or another. Wan agreed to join us. I felt glad that I took along Azfar's junior guitar that Wan can use a bass guitar.

Once I am done with tuning the guitar I tried to establish the internet connection. I didn't have webcam so Delinn passed me hers and I page Malim with YM and asked him about the picture. According to Malim the picture wasn't good and Delinn passed me the new webcam but she didn't have the the cd driver which need to be installed in my laptop. I tried to download the file from the internet but since the wi fi connection at the hotel was suck, I could not complete with the new webcam. So I just forget about it. Tak kuasa nak layan.

Later Tuan Alang came and he set up every thing. He was a little bit late because he got to go to hospital after her mother has been discharged from the hospital for soft stroke attack. I am impressed with the dedication Tuan Alang put to ensure the gathering will be a success. Half an hour later Coco arrived and she asked me to download the Acrobat CE so that she could play flash player to my computer.

By the way since my laptop using AMD Turion 64, the internet connection always kaput and we decided my laptop will be used to play the presentation made by Coco. Thanks Coco for the lovely presentation. Since Tuan Alang, Coco and Fara have better wifi signal, so we decided only 3 webcams will be used to make live stream of the event. Neverthelesee some times the signal wasn't good and we are sorry to all viewer in the US, England and Australia that the connection was not connected. To Malim we are sorry for some reason there are no people at the laptop to accept your request for viewing. Coco was still busy preparing her flash player presentation while myself and Tuan Alang bersiap siap mandi. We tried to get back to Malim later but not to avail.
So Xydee is a professional entertainer, He arrived at the Hotel like 7.30pm and we have not practice the song together. Although we had send our songs to each other over the internet, playing alone is different when we play together. So we still practice. Furthermore, Wan also in the frame after he agreed to be the bass player. So we practised.

People have allready waiting outside the ball room when we were practising. Wak wanted verything are in place before we can open the door. After all not many people arrived yet at the hotel as it was raining outside and we can see there will be some delay. The jammed was massived and we were also informed that Sempoi together with Abg Din and their friend had and accident. Its a minor though.
So we open the door at about 8.30pm and all guest find their table.
The event started with Wakame and Angah on the stage and rostrum. They were great. I am not surprised with Wakame because this is his field, a person with such personality. Angah was very good with mic too. I am impressed. Gurindam by Wakame was so lovely and I tell you that his gurimdam cost every body RM 3000 ( at least hehehehehehe) when they asked for reception services or dinner functions.

We had a lot of fun, Wak was great on the stage when he interviewed some of the people when they came on stage to claim their prizes. He made the crowd laughing in joy. The crowd were also sporting.

We played 4 songs that night, as the time passed by very fast, we could not get into the 5th song which was Runaway Train. The first session we played Sketsa Sebuah Cinta and Bukan Kerna Nama. We called Serindit, Par and Afdzal to sing together on the stage. Nini made a comment like were competing in Malaysia Idol. Suara sumbang, tune lari and what not hahahahahahaha. As expected la akn hehehehehe, sore sengau dengau kekekekekekeke. The second session we played Ruang Rindu and Mustika. Since Ruang Rindu was requested by Delinn, I have asked Delinn to get on stage together with Kuni from Japan to sing along.

When I was not on stage I chatted with all the overseas viewer, AF in Houston, AM in Oklahoma, Krozz in London and Kyora in Perth. They were impressed when Fara and Anne together with Zaide sang their song. Fara has steel the limelight on stage as everybody said she has a nice voice. Makcik makcik kagum you Fara wakakakakaka.

We end the night like 11.00pm with lagu Bertemu dan Berpisah. Well this will not be the end of the congregation. We will make the event even more merrier and with the formation of the club, the gathering will be much fun and organise. That time around we will not come close to the hotel like De Palma Ampang Hotel. Hancus ajer aku rasa with the Sales Manager Pn R*** dont fit in the hospitality business. (I'll write again about the Depalma in another entry)

To all of you, I am proud of your commitment. To the AJK you were great, specially to Wakame who drive the Gegar so well and organised (Memang patutlakan dia pun even manager utk VVIP dan Celeb kan hehehehehehe). To the backup singer, Thanks for covering my voice yang kuar ikut hidung wakakakaka, To Xydee and Wan thank you for being my on stage partner. Next year I want to have 5 men with accoustic guitar.

To everybody, I love you all

Raya Story (Part 2)

Eventhough I could get a lot of money from my father's friend during 1st syawal, I still not enjoyed the day. During those years, I felt Ramadhan was even better as we played combat with thunderclad cracker dan satu lagu mercun das if you can remember that firework. While bapak bapak terawih, we play combat with fire-cracker ........... dan selalu juga kena marah pasal berperang dekat dengan surau. What to do meh, only that area was light with Street light hahahahahaha.

From '80 to '85, Eid was ok in terms of duit raya but boring in term of the absent of my close friends. During this time, my father still did not afford to buy car, so we celebrate the eid the whole month in Serdang. From '86 my father bought a car and we will balik kampung on the 2nd day of syawal. We always planed to balik kampung like 8.00am or 9.00a.m in the morning but my father's friends always came early, so tak da la awal pun balik kampung tuh.

From '80 to '86 the numbers of families that stayed in the garden rose from merely 5 to about 10 to 12 but still they didn't have sons that have same age like me. So it didn't mean anything to me.

In the '86, my friend proposed to watch movie in KL. I knew my mum would not allow me to go to KL if I asked permission from her. So aku diam kan ajer and went to KL with my friend. Normally we watched the 3.00pm show and when the show over by 5.00pm we will round the city center for a while. Terasa best pulak pasal tak ada satu kenderaan pun kat tempat sesibuk Pudu Raya.

We will make sure that we can take the 6.00pm bus so that our parent would not realised that we have travelled as far as Kuala Lumpur on the 1st day of Eid.

During the night I always go to this satu kedai india nih for one reason. Main TIKAM DUIT gambar dayak tuh. Sometime I made money and most of the time I lose a lot. Bengap la when I was a kid, luckily today that TIKAM duit has no longer in the groceries stores. Takut aku kalau anak anak aku main pulak hehehehehhehehehe.

Raya Story (Part 1)

I wish everybody Selamat Hari Raya Minal Aidil Wal Fa Izeen.

Many of my friends thought that I am KL like, a town boy without a kampung ( I am not for heaven sake, I am suburbia boy). Well its soooo really not true. I am still a kampung boy that still have values that the kampungite always have.

My parents moved to Serdang while I was still todler, in my 9th months age or probably a year. We lived in Kg Pasir, an area in Universiti Putra Malaysia (then it was Universiti Pertanian Malaysia) which now has become a UPM Islamic Center's.

My late father was a gaffer at MARDI and during that time, and he could not afford to buy a car. Normally he travelled with his motor bike and when he balik kampung for what ever reason, he travelled alone.

After he passed his LCE he left MARDI and started to work as an political aide to the son of the then Mentri Besar of Selangor. The later he became an information officer in Angkasa Puri (Kem. Penerangan) and only by that time he could afford to buy a car.

Even after we had a car, my father still not balik kampung, not until the 2nd day of hari raya. He was a prominent local community leader and a lot of people came to our house during the 1st syawal, mainly people from MIC and MCA (yg Melayu ramai balik kg ..... hehehehehe).

During syawal, there are merely 5 families lived in that garden, an Imam with their families and 4 friends of mine. Normally after Eid Prayer in Masjid Serdang (near Jabatan Pertanian and MARDI) and after family congregation and bermaafan session I will visit the Imam's house (until today I still visit that imam's house) and my friends' house. Normally it will over by noon and basically after that we only watch telematch, a game from Germany if you can still remember. Basically while watching this telematch game my father's friend will come. I like when they are coming. Its hari raya but they are the one who gave me ANGPAU hahahahaha, best siot. And normally they will give DUIT KERTAS (if you can still remember, 28yrs back to 33yrs back biasa org bagi 20 sen atau 30 sen ajer, duit kertas tuh dah kira lumayan la hahahahahaha)

We rocked the gegar ria nanti

Nah ambik ko Joe and Angah

Joe has pyscho me to make an entry about the return of Pak Dee to Malaysia. Delinn and Angah have updated their version and mine would be additional to what they have written.

Well before that, Pak Dee has reminisce me of a person I once knew. The look and the way he talked is almost identical to my friend. A sanguine type of person. Well, sama macam aku lakan hehehehehehe.

Well, Pak Dee feel sorry as his flight was delayed for about almost half an hour and Limah and Delinn think that Pak Dee would not want to get out from the hall as we put the banner in the arrival hall. Well to me its just a placard state the name and since only few could recognise Pak Dee from the webcam, I think that placard is appropriate. While driving to the airport, Yum mentioned that Delinn would probably write a banner 'Will You Marry Me' oppppppppppssss. Tapi takut Bernie balik sekali tu yg dia tak jadi gantung tu hehehehehehehe.

Pak Dee jumped in surprise we did put the banner (placard) spelled his name. Arc did snap some picture while he was in shock or at least pretending in shock like he mentioned to Elf. A moment later boleh dia pegi kebelakang bag dia and bring out his camera and snapped us. That is why you can see Arc snap Pak Dee while he snapped us.

We have briefed introduction and the later we move to cafe marche as Angah has already demanded kopi mahal from Pak Dee. Pasal Pak Dee sayang ngan Angah dia layan and we shared the treatment hahahahahaha. Yum had bought a birthday cake for Pak Dee which turned 34 today. Happy Birthday Pak Dee. While we preparing cakes and candle, we overheard birthday song adjacent to our table and certainly its not coming from our table. I reckon the girls behind the counter play that song or probably the man who are surfing played the song from the internet. Pak Dee blowed the candle while Angah asked Pak Dee make a wish. We knew Pak Dee made a wish so that he and Bernie could marry early next year, kekekekekeke, ilmu meneka aku.

We talked like almost 1 hour before we decided to QIAM Pak Dee at Putrajaya. Pak Dee rode with Angah and his begs load to my trunk. I tell you, never in our life we sight seeing Putrajaya so early in the morning and that the very first time for the very special moment for the very special guest ( ehhhh Joe, Pak Dee VIP ajer, ko aku reservekan VVIP). We took pictures at the bridge overlook to MOF Building. Pak Dee wanted to see Masjid Putrajaya but since we QIAM and the people inside the mosque QIAMULAIL, they put the light off and its dark.

After about half an hour we decided to go to Restaurant Naz Maju in Precint 9. I am not alien with this restaurant as occasionally my friend and I have our lunch here. Pak Dee ordered roti canai and murtabak, dan dia makan dengan bersungguh sungguhnya. 8 tahun kan ko tak jumpa. Lagi satu, nih tak ada dalam update Angah and Delinn, they got to go pee at Delinn's house. kekekekekekeke (Delinn nak beritahu rumah ko dekat ajer dgn restoran tuh hehehehehe).

When time almost 5.00am I mentioned to them that I got to bring something for my kids for sahur, and we decided to take Pak Dee to our home. Pak Dee have passed several items to Delinn to be put in the lucky draw prizes and once everything clear we off to my home.

Arc served the children ayam masak merah to the kids and I prepared room for Pak Dee. So after Pak Dee has brush his teeth we chat until quater to seven. I asked Pak Dee how he and Acoque came to know about Joe's Blog, about his life in Canada, about Bernie and her family.

Pak Dee mentioned he had google for something and stucked at Joe's Blog. At that time, Joe was in California and he said that he could also end up like Joe if all the measure he took while living in Canada not turn as he wish for. So he started to introduce himself to Joe and start to communicate with email and YM and be friended subsquently. He also started to chat with the people at the tagboard and amongst other people who had early convesation with Pak Dee is Anne. Elok la tuh King Jorok and Queen Jorok chatted in tagboard.

After a while he came to know that Pawaka is Acoque, his friend while they were studying in the US. Since his early nick was Xy'd, Acoque had a strong feeling that this Xy'd is his old buddy. Strangely, Acoque has not asked Xy'd directly, instead he asked Joe who is this Xy'd and when confirmed Xy'd is in Canada, then Acoque started to scream to Pak Dee, or shall I say sing Aerosmith together in tagboard. huhhhhh I can still vividly remember that.

Pak Dee telling story to me that his life wasn't smooth in his early days in Canada. He mentioned that if we do not have will and purpose we loose in the foreign land. He took 2 years to convince his parents about living in Canada after Bernie was reluctant to live in Malaysia once they got marry. Well demi chenta la kan so end up Pak Dee went for Canada.

With 10K Canadian dollar he started to live in Canada. He was lucky enough to get a job as a technical support operator and since the pay is small, he could not afford to rent an apartment. Bernie's parent offer Pak Dee to live with them and Pak Dee gladly accepted the offer. Manakan tidak kan boleh dekat dengan Bernie ........ hehehehehehehe, tu yg aku pernah sergah dulu tu boleh percaya ke Pak Dee, King of Jorok kan hehehehehe, tapi aku tahu dia tak buat, budak baekkkkkkkkkk............... yeeeee keeeeeeeeeeee.

After 2 years, he got another offer in a paper mill industries and he got to travel more than 1 hrs to get to the mill. This time around the offer match with his qualification as an engineer. Nevertheless, the sky not always clear until dusk, its raining at noon. Pak Dee was laid of by the company after another 2 years working. So he started to get a job in downtown Winnipeg and got the job he currently under employment. Making radiography system for hospital if I am not mistaken and that require him to travel a lot to Minnesota and St Paul. His life wasn't easy for the last 6 years and glad it has become good recent days.

Pak Dee told me that Bernie parents have immigrated from France to Canada ever since 60s'. They have nothing and merely work as lobourer to others people ranch. But over time, they started accumulating land and started to grow crops and cows for milk. Today they have thousand of hectars land which they work on dairy, corn, wheat, barley ehhh ye keeeee, ke aku yg tambah mitos sket hahahahaha. Bernie's parent is multi millionaires and only one brother helps Bernie's parent. The other one had opened a coffee shop like Starbuck in Winnipeg and since their premise is in the heavy traffic of people, they all doing very fine today. Bernie has sometimes got to help them to look after the 2yrs old todler when his brother and sister could not come home early.

Earlier on, I though Pak Dee fell in luv with Bernie when they were studying together at the university. Pak Dee told me they knew each other while IRCing with other and Bernie is 5 yrs younger than Pak Dee.

I can tell that Pak Dee is really in luv with Bernie, so you Yum and Delinn, forget it okay to try to win Pak Dee's heart hahahahahahahahaha. I reckon, Pak Dee returns not only will gegar the dinner, I believe he wants to have permission from his parents to marry Bernie probably early next year.

To all of you freind, lets pray together whatever Pak Dee's dream may come true. Tapi jangan lupa la satu kapal terbang bawak kami ke Kanada. After all bapak Bernie kan Jutawannnn

Hahahahahahahhaa. Pak Dee, lets rockkkkkkkkkkkkk

New life after Inem went home for good

Well, most of you have known Inem during gegar raya at my home or at any other places we have met together. She has been very good to our family as well as our kins.

After almost 4 years working with us, she went back to Medan yesterday to be with her mum. She really wasnt ready to quit the job but her mother always asked her to get back to Medan and to look after her (mother) or probably, i don't know, maybe her mum has matched her with a guy to be her wedded husband. Or probably her mum was indeed lonely after Inem's father passed away on the night we had our Gegar Raya at my home last year.

So Thursday night we took Inem to have pizza in pizza hut restaurant. We dont usually have pizza from pizza hut because we rather have domino's pizza which taste better than pizza hut and they offer great discount too for take away pizza for their members.
We just ordered regular Hawaian Pizza, soup, salad and 2 lasagne. Azfar was really surprised because we normally bought large pizza. The truth is we had mc chicken for breaking fast on the hi-way and we tought we are half full already although we shared the burger.
So yesterday we sent Inem to LCCT, the hi-way was poured with heavy rain as if not allowing Inem to go back for good. I drove slowly and almost 45 mintes later we reached to the airport. As expected the plane will be delayed since the rain was heavy. We checked in early and by the time Inem had checked in, its time for breaking fast. We only bought roti john, cracker and fish/meatball and our neighbour prepared spagetti. Inem fly home together with her friend but her friend will come again after hari raya.
After breaking fast and solat we send Inem to the boarding gate and later only to find out that her cabin luggage has exceded the weight that is allowed. The guys asked Inem to weight again at the check in booth and pay the different to them before she can carry the beg to the cabin. I talked with my neighbour while Inem and her friend together with the wife of my neighbour to the check-in-booth. While talking to my neighbour I asked the boarding gate supervisor how much that she had to pay and he mentioned to us that she just got to pay the different of weight that is 4kg extra. So ok la kan kena bayar RM 60. But the process took a while and the supervisor said that Inem and her friend should hurry up or else the flight will leave without her and her friend. So I went to the booth and found that the wife of my riend had a frowned face. I asked her why and she said that the luggage will be sent for cargo instead of cabin and they got to pay extra. I checked the invoice and Inem had to pay another RM 165 which is unacceptable to me as the supervisor said that Inem just got to pay the additional weight only. This lady by the name Aqmal was so rude. Inem and her friend want to pay and they infact have put their luggage in the conveyor for dock inside the cargo. I asked the luggage to be offload from the conveyor and called the supervisor and complaint that girl have been rude to us and charged us ridiculously. The supervisor explained to the lady and they cancelled the invoice. Because of that argument, the supervisor asked Inem and friend to go to the boarding gate and pay the different thay.
When we reached to the boarding gate, Inem's boarding pass were missing and according to my neighbours, they had their maid's boarding gate thrown to the dust bin while weighing the luggage and expect Inem have similar situation. The supervisor said that Inem had no time to check again with the lady and he will issue the special boarding gate to Inem. And because of that incident, the hair-wire problem at the boarding gate, Inem and friend were asked to hurry to the plane and they were not charged for the excessive weigh they carry.
I reckon its a signal that Inem still didnt want to get home and she shall stay here for another couple of years working with us. Well, who knows she would probably coming back again early next year and working with us.
For a start today, Arc had woke up early in the morning and cook something for sahur. Probably today is ok because Inem had ironed most of our shirt and tomorrow would probably kaput.
Hahahahahahaha, days without helper sure will make our moring kelam kabut.

Liyana Turns 5yrs old

My children have been crying to have birthday cake since a month ago although they knew that Liyana's b/day will be on the 3rd of October and Shasha's would be on 3rd December. Everytime we passed by the cake shops in Bangi Utama or Tesco, Liyana will demand her cake.

When 3rd Oct. came, Liyana craved to have her cake as earlier as she could possibly can. The problem is, I got class last Wednesday and means that she only got her cake after I finish class. Nevertheless Arc has asked her sister to buy the cake and send them to my house and Arc asked the children to wait for me before they can knife the cake. When I got back from the class they were all joy and can wait to cut the cake and have them in their mouth.

Happy birthday Liyana

My Hectic Days Are Coming

Last Saturday we had the preparation meeting for the upcoming event, Makan Malam Gegar Ria, at our home. Nothing to say much as all the itenary program has been well explained in Delinn's blog. Since all the committe members came with their pot lucks we have a lot of dishes on the table. Its like breaking fast in the golf club restaurant only minus the fruits. Hmmmmm I like laksa made by Putri. Sunday night I had laksa serve chilled from the refrigerator. Malas nak panaskan kat microwave. Last night I had another round, again, served chilled hehehehehehehe. But I tell you, still sedapppppppppppppppppp.

Last Saturday, in the morning, I had a final year project briefing by the project coordinator. She had outline the submission date line as well as format of writing dissertation. The most challenging part is that we need to submit the 1st draft paper to the project supervisor by 27th October next month. With the lab project still facing hipcups, I find myself in in rather difficult time to complete everything before hari raya. All the material and lab bench system has already in place and the problem I face right now is the equipment to analyze the sample is not in my faculty. I got to go to faculty of science to do the testing and I got to go there on daily basis during noon break time. Melepas time aku nak melelapkan mata. But nevermind, its only in this very semester. I feel relieve if I could complete this project the latest 1 week after hari raya. So that I could make the 1st draft paper early and submit before Makan Malam Gegar Ria. Even now, I have started with the introduction and literature review of my project. I try to complete by this week end and continue with methodology and apparatus used by 7th Oct. So that after Eid I could start with my finding, conclusion and recommendation and submit my 1st draft by 27th Oct.

Oh God give me strength to complete my project. Aminnnnnn

Dilema kalau dapat keje jauh

Last week I went for an interview with SABIC Plastic. Until now I am not really sure wheather or not I am serious for that job.

The plant is located in Senawang next to Lavender Height, another 7km away from angah's parent house. The toll from Bangi to Senawang two way round is RM 11.40 and the distance approximately 110km. If I were to set RM 0.12/km therefore in one day my petrol would be RM 13.2/day. Simple mathematic in a month i got to fork out RM 590 for travelling.

Man ......... that sum is huge. I could do a lot of thing with that money.

I am still hoping I could get job in petrochemical industries and I preferably want the company somewhere in Kuala Lumpur. So I do not have to spend extra money just for another travelling fees.

Afterall ahli reban always gather at ayam golek bintang 5, a place I'll miss most if I accept that offer (hahahahahaha offer letter pun tak kuar lagi dah perasan bagus macam dapat).

After 18 wonderful years leaving school, we gather again in the new student hall floored with broken parquet and thick dust, like this hall have not been used for ages. Nevertheless, thanks to the school administration for giving us a chance to make our very first reunion in this hall, a hall that we never had before, a hall that we could envy for.
We had planned this reunion ever since February this year and every month we met in Shah Alam, Kelana Jaya, Bangi and Wangsa Maju to make preparation on the venue, the VIP Guest i.e., our beloved teachers, the door gifts, the itenary programs dan yang paling susah is to get our long lost friend to come for this reunion. We have more than 300 students and we only manage to have a list of almost 90 students. Out of that list more than 60 students committed to come for the reunion and thanks Allah, more than 50 people did really came for the event. Tak apa la as long as depa bayar kira commit la ekkkk.
It was a wonderfull afternoon as I met many of my long lost friends. Some of us have become prominent business men, some of us become lawyers and pilots, some of us become secretaries and as usual for any product of Technical Institution, most of us become engineers of variety fileds, be it in electronic and semiconductor, civil, oil and gas and you name it ......many.

Budak Budak Ukur Tanah

Budak Budak TIKL Sessi 88-89

The very reason why we put our energy for this reunion is basically to tell everyone of ex-student of TIKL (batch 88-89) the intention to form an association that can be something benificial to all the members. The committee had outline some agendas when the association has been established and we believe the members will prosper through the activities set in the agenda. I'll write this again when the association has been approved by Registrar of Association (ROA) hopefully by 1 quater next year.

Mean while, we now had to think proteam commitee members of our association before we can table this to all the ex student and prior to call our first General Meeting for the establishment of the association.
Insyaallah, during this fasting month, we will breaking fast together and plan the General Meeting, the association constituent and the activities before we meet ROA officer. Hopefully, everything goes as we planned.
Moral of the story; Kami buat meeting byk kali nak jaya kan majlis ini, Gegar Reban Ayam huhhhhh malam ini baru nak sambung meeting itu pun bila Wakame balik dari Osaka, kekekekekekeke, ko jangan tak jayakan lepas aku letak banner tuh wakakakakakakaka. Besar kemaluan kalau tak jadi.

MyJobStreet ©JobStreet.com

Yesterday I got a called from somebody from GE Plastics. He asked me to come for an interview at an instance which I cannot do.

The reason simply because I am not prepared for that interview. Then I remembered that my application has been unsuccessful when I applied for that post sometimes 3 months ago. So I open my Jobstreet and found out that they have rejected my application without even call me for an interview. Something has went wrong probably. hmmmmmmmmmm

I couldnt careless with what had happened with their earlier recruitment and I am going to go for that opputunity. Furthermore they have change name from GE Plastics to Arab Petrochemical after the Prince of Saudia Arabia bought GE Plastics for almost USD 12billion. That petrochemical name probably can be my stepping stone to the real Oil and Gas Industry.

Huh aku dah berangan dah kekekekekekekekeke

Fireworks at Putrajaya

In conjunction with 50th Malaysia Independence from the Brits, the government has made a fireworks competition at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). They are 5 participants namely, Team Malaysia, Team Australia, Team Italy, Team Japan and lastly Team Global.

The event was spectacular that pull ten of thousands of crowd to Putrajaya. The traffic flow was massived and jammed all the road towards PICC. I told Arc if we want to watch the fireworks, we shall set our mind that we going to face massive traffic jam, that we would not be able to arrive to our home within half and hour like we usually did when we get back home from Alamanda.
On the first day of the competition, I wasn't sure whether or not to get too close to PICC as I am not sure how massive is the jam. So we decided to watch the firework from Taman Desa Pinggiran Putra, about 7km from PICC by road or about 4km view (agakan aku la;- if you want to know exactly the distance, why dont you go to google map and measure the distance). We went out like 9.00pm or 10 past 9.00pm and we arrived at Taman Desa Pinggiran Putra about 35 minutes later.

By the time we reached there, the traffic to PICC still ok but a lot of people chosed to cross the curb toward the opposite direction to Alamanda back and we did the same (nasib la perbadanan putrajaya, hang punya green belt tengah tengah hiway byk rosak kekekekeke). We parked along with many other spectators by the road side. 10.00pm sharp, Team Malaysia start the show. I am quite impressed that Team Malaysia is able to match their capability with other contestants come from abroad. Team Malaysia has worked on flowers formation like Bunga Raya and Lotus. Other showcase just ordinary fire works.
On the 2nd day of competition (which was 2 days after 1st show) we watched the fireworks from different view. We watched the fireworks from Cyberjaya near the flyover that has 4 towers in which Tun Mahathir plant his will inside the time capsule. Yummy and my colleague mentioned that view from Cyberjaya is amazing. I made the double park which in no time later it became quadraple park that only allowing 1 lane open for those people who wants to go to Dengkil.
The second contestant was from Australia. I am not really eager for that show since the performer was from Australia but when Azfar and Shasha keep reminded us about the shows, its a signal that they really want to watch the show. As we watched the firework from quite a distance, I cant really appreciate what they showed. Well to me its merely ordinary fireworks although The Aussies likes to fire the fireworks to highest altitude. Nevertheless we became frustrated because our view are limited by either others people head or the trees. They blocked our view. I said ok, well, in our mind we believe people from the east like China, Korea or Japan can do much better than Aussie. So we could not careless. As for my kids, as long as they can see 'Kembang Api - Indon Punya Bahasa' they happy dan aku pun ok ajer la.

The following day, my friend who lives in Putrajaya adviced me to get close to the PICC. The view is fantastic as we can see from where the fireworks were projected. Furthermore, some fireworks did not go high, they just burn about 20ft high above the ground so we cannot see from Desa Pinggiran Putra, Cyberjaya or probably from Masjid Putrajaya.
We followed his advice and on the 3rd event, we watched Team Italy showcase their fireworks. It was fantastic, Azfar and Shasha hopping in joy, Bibik was also mesmerized with the fireworks. Never in her entire life people put fireworks that bigggggggg. When they fire, the fire blossom in the sky and lights the ground. The sound ....... hmmmmm wallaaaaaa, very da noisy until Liyana scared to much. She afraid that fireworks fall to us and burn us all. She cried when the Italian fire the fireworks the sound exploded like a bomb. She scared until she shivered all body. Kesian dia. She scared when the fireworks exploded and made huge fire ball in the sky. Bibik Inem confort Liyana and telling her everything is ok, that the police has made the safety line. Liyana still crying.
Amongts other formation Team Italy did is luv sign in the middle of the fireworks and the star. We tought that show was better than Team Malaysia and Team Australia.
Last Thursday night, my grandma made kenduri doa selamat at Local Masjid in Sepang. So my mum wanted to take Inem together with her when she balik kampung. Knowing that her services are needed in Kampung she felt she missed the long awaited event, the fireworks from Team Japan. We can see that she felt dissppointed for not been able to watch Team Japan. However my mum called me Wednesday night and informed me that my grandma only needs help on Friday night for the kenduri cukur jambul which is held on Saturday night and tell me that she will straight balik kampung without Inem (Kenduri sambut Puasa di Masjid malam Jumaat dan kenduri Cukur Jambul Malam Ahad). Inem was happy with that news.
On the 4th event, we watch Team Japan showcase their fireworks. We were at PICC at 9.00pm and we were wonder why there are not many cars surrounding the PICC. So we tought probably people want to watch concert and fireworks at KLCC. Usually 5 or 10 minutes before the showcase, the team will test with their fireworks and we saw nothing that night. While queing to pee, we overheard that there will be a count down and Team Japan will only fire after the countdown, well, exactly after the Negaraku la kan. (Yang ini pun aku kagum tengok Cina dan India semangat nyanyi). The truth is they have published in the paper that there will be a countdown, it just us, assuming that the fireworks will starts at 10.00pm. While waiting for the event, terpaksa la pakcik 2 round beli Cornetto, just to kill the time. Hampeh ajer aku rasa.

I tought it was fantastic when Team Japan did Niagara Fall Formation (ala bunga api yg menjurai macam air terjun) and double luv sign. Nevertheless Arc didnt seem to agree with me as she felt that the Italian did better. Above all everything was superb. Azfar and Shasha with their big mouth open with WOWWWWWWWW and Liyana still scared of the sound and the fireball. She asked us to go farther away from the PICC. Adik suka tengok yang kecil ajer, Liyana cried.
And last night was the Final showcase between Team Japan and Team Global. This time around I wasnt be able to get close to PICC. Putrajaya and Bangi rained until 9.00pm. When the raining ceased at about 9 we decided to watch the fireworks. I reckoned not many people will watch the event as the area still drizzling and the soil is damped. Sangkaan ku meleset. I was stucked in the traffic jammed 5km away from PICC. The 5 lane hiways was jammed with all sorts of vehicle. The cars were parked at the 5 lane hiways. No one can move. Azfar and Shasha grumbled while Liyana was happy because we were quite a distance from PICC. Adik suka tengok yg macam ini, kecil ajer. Liyana smiled.

Well, I think this event is great. If ever they do this again, I hope the Ministry will make plan of the logistic aspect, i.e. the parking area, the commuter services, portable toilets, gerai gerai and what not. This event have pull ten of thousands crowed daily and I believe it could generate some income to certain quaters of people.
Meanwhile friend, I did snapped some picture and I feel mines wasnt good. so I scout around and found there are some people who have downloaded the picture to their web. Picture below were taken from http://nismoclub.6.forumer.com/ and http://fotowarung.bazuki.com/. Give credit to them:
By the way, Team Australia has won the competition for something they did somebody else cannot do. Tekaan aku dan Arc meleset sama sekali, wakakakakakakaka. To all Malaysian, Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan; Merdeka, Merdeka, Merdeka
