BBQ Bakar Arang - Huh what ever

Yesterday, as has been planned during Zulangz wedding, we gathered againt to celebrate Alangz and Zura at my home. A year ago when we made BBQ at this very house, the rain showered my house. So did yesterday. I planned to grill at my back house and since the rain showered, I asked Alangz to help me moved the bbq set under the patio. This will make the smoke fly inside the house and will gave nuisance to all the people inside the house. What else can I do as I have limited area to make BBQ.

Well the rain came with blessed. We knew that this blessed have made two hearts became one and we believe so did yesterday. We reckoned Daff and Ima will come to so much anticipated result and I bet its going to be this year, wakakakakakakakakaka ................statement confident okay.

Since the bbq is expected to start at 3.00pm, I immediately lit the fire and burn the charcoal 5 minutes past 3.00pm. During this time, Cik Long and Dr Royce have already in my house. Very the punctual fella this two ladies. They came with J-Co donut and uhhhhhhhhhh I forgot what else ............ haaaaaa grapes.

Then Alangz and Zura came and they get into the house from the kitchen. Dah macam adik beradik pulak boleh masuk ikut pintu dapur, not the front door like guest. And short moment later Angah and Wan came with Ikan Sambal. Alangz and Zura came with Nasi goreng, ayam goreng and tak ingat dah aku hehehehehhe.

After we have moved the grill set from back house to the patio, Arc passed me the cocktail frankfurter. So we grilled the frankfurter. We thought to grill the cockles as well and since the bbq set is so big for the cockles, Alangz just boiled them with lemon grass. Anyway sodap gakkkkk. Time passed 5.00pm and the main menu hasn't arrived yet. Angah called Limah and they were about to got o my house. So in the mean time I just made sure the charcoal still burning. Its hard to lit the fire again with new charcoal. So while I maintained the burnt, we basically grilled nothing and Delinn told us we just bbq bakar arang. Wan helped me to maintain the fire. So I get to the kitchen and started to make butter sauce. I got all the ingredient I need and start to cooked them. OK quick recipee, 100ml condensed milk, 300gm butter, 1 stalk fresh chives, 1 tablespoon dried oregano, 1 tablespoon dried basil and 5 cloves shallot. Thin slice the onion and fry the onions with 1 spoon of butter. When the aroma catch your nose, pour the milk and put the remaining butter and later once boiled, put all the herbs and salt to taste. Try them. Sedappppppp

So now the butter sauce is ready and it must go with grilled prawn. Tapi itu menu tak sampai sampai gak. Limah has not answered a called from Arc and we dont know where is her about. Time allready 10 passed 6.00pm and we have not known of Limah where about. Meanwhile the taggers ate what they can eat. Anything on the table. Lapar dah masing masing.

Angah and Delinn cannot tahan allready. They just waited outside watching me or Wan keep the fire on the charcoal burning. Tengok la gambar kat bawah, merenung asap ajer wakakakakakaka


Limah and her family arrived 30minutes passed 6.00pm and many taggers jeered her. Nasib baik ko buat muka toya ajer limah. Hamdan and I hurriedly grill the chicken while Wan helped us to take the grilled chicken inside the house. The verdict, hummmmmmmmmm, superliciuos. Nasib baik sangat sedap limah kalau tak ko kena kutuk ajer sepanjang tahun wakakakakakaka. The prawn, Limah bought the expensive one so we cannot get much. We rationed the prawn for three prawns per head.......... kekekekekekeke apasal la ko pegi beli yg sekilo RM 32 limah. Kan dah sket ajer kami dapat makan kekekekekekeke.


So makan makan sudah, solat sudah and after Maghrib, Wakame wanted to discuss on new project. We planned to have another Gegar version 2008 and this time around we going to gegar pantai. The itenaries program will be similar to the one we have done in hotel puaka and theonly different now is we going to do outside the building. We planned to go to Pantai Balok near Cherating for this event.

New sexcretary for this project is Ima, because we noticed that her boyfriend, Daff, have so many excellent ideas. Tukang kutip duit who else if not my lovely Arc and Delinn, Hiburan it going to be me...................... again. (Pak dee mai balik bulan june nanti, kita jamm lagi) and project director, who else kalau bukan Wakame yg ramai oirang gerun tuh hahahahahaha. Eh by the way aku memangku tugas Wakame selama dia kat Jepun, siap la korang kalau tak buat keje.

We end the meeting almost 10.00pm and the later I went to Pak Ngah restaurant and watched Manchester United thrashed Fulham 3 to nothing. glory glory Man United, glory glory Man United.
